Comparison review
The Xperia 1 VI is slightly better than the OnePlus 8 Pro, getting an 83.2 score against 77.2. Xperia 1 VI's body is a lot lighter and incredibly thinner than OnePlus 8 Pro. OnePlus 8 Pro counts with a more vivid screen than Xperia 1 VI, although it has a little lower resolution of 1440 x 3168, a bit worse amount of pixels per screen inch and a quite smaller display.
The Sony Xperia 1 VI has a much greater storage capacity to install games and applications than OnePlus 8 Pro, because it has a SD card slot that holds a maximum of 1 TB and 256 GB internal storage capacity. OnePlus 8 Pro counts with a really superior performance than Sony Xperia 1 VI, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores.
The Sony Xperia 1 VI has just a little better battery life than OnePlus 8 Pro, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity instead of 4510mAh. The Xperia 1 VI captures slightly better videos and photos than OnePlus 8 Pro, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not nice for low-light photography and video, and they both have the same video definition, a same resolution back-facing camera and a 0.71 inches back camera sensor, the Xperia 1 VI also counts with faster 120 frames per second video frame rates.
