Comparison review
The Sony Xperia 1 VI is a little bit better than the OnePlus 8 UW, having a score of 83.2 against 75.9. Sony Xperia 1 VI is a notably thinner and notably lighter phone than OnePlus 8 UW. Both of these phones include Android OS (operating system), but the Sony Xperia 1 VI has newer 14 version and OnePlus 8 UW has Android 10, giving some nice extra features and better performance.
OnePlus 8 UW counts with a little sharper screen than Xperia 1 VI, although it has a way worse resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, much lesser pixels per display inch and a little smaller display. The Sony Xperia 1 VI captures clearer photos and videos than OnePlus 8 UW, because although it has a smaller camera aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution and the same resolution back camera, the Sony Xperia 1 VI also counts with a lot bigger back-facing camera sensor taking way higher quality pictures and faster video frame rate.
Xperia 1 VI counts with better battery performance than OnePlus 8 UW, because it has a 5000mAh battery size against 4300mAh.
