Xperia 1 VI is slightly better than Galaxy S5 Sport, with a general score of 83.2 against 77.8. The Xperia 1 VI design is much lighter and thinner than the Galaxy S5 Sport. Both devices in our current comparison come with Android OS (Operating System), but Xperia 1 VI has 14 version and Galaxy S5 Sport has Android 4.4.2.
Galaxy S5 Sport has a slightly better screen than Xperia 1 VI, although it has a really smaller screen, a lot worse number of pixels per screen inch and a much lower 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. The Galaxy S5 Sport has a much more powerful CPU than Xperia 1 VI, because although it has 4 lesser cores and lesser RAM, it also counts with an additional graphics processor.
The Xperia 1 VI captures much clearer photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport, and although they both have the same (4K) video quality, the Xperia 1 VI also has a bigger diafragm aperture for better low light photography, a much more megapixels back facing camera, a much larger back camera sensor which provides a way higher image and video quality and better 120 frames per second video frame rates.
Xperia 1 VI has a way bigger memory for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport, because it has more internal storage and a SD memory card expansion slot that allows a maximum of 1 TB. The Sony Xperia 1 VI features a much better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
