Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has a global score of 85.7, which is just a bit better than the Xperia 1 VI's general score of 83.2. Both of these phones include Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has older 5.0 version and Xperia 1 VI has Android 14. The Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a much better performing CPU than Xperia 1 VI, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, and they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Galaxy S6 Edge also counts with a 64 bits processor and a graphics co-processor.
The Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a brighter display than Xperia 1 VI, although it has a lot smaller display, a just a little less pixels per screen inch and a way worse 2560 x 1440 resolution. Sony Xperia 1 VI counts with a greater camera than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, and although they both have a F1.9 aperture, the same video frame rates and the same video resolution, the Sony Xperia 1 VI also has a lot higher 48 mega-pixels resolution camera in the back and a much larger back camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
The Xperia 1 VI features a much bigger memory capacity for applications and games than Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has a slot for SD memory cards that allows up to 1 TB and 256 GB internal storage. The Xperia 1 VI has a much better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has a 92 percent more battery size.
