Comparison review
Sony Xperia 1 VI has a global score of 83.2, which is a bit better than the Galaxy S8's score of 81.7. Sony Xperia 1 VI is a notably lighter and extremely thinner phone than Galaxy S8. Galaxy S8 features a very superior hardware performance than Xperia 1 VI, although it has 8 GB less RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
The Galaxy S8 counts with a little sharper screen than Xperia 1 VI, although it has a just a bit inferior quantity of pixels per screen inch, a little lower resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels and a quite smaller display. The Xperia 1 VI has a lot bigger memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S8, because it has 256 GB internal storage capacity and a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 1 TB.
The Xperia 1 VI has a very superior camera than Samsung Galaxy S8, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not nice for taking pictures and video in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same video quality, the Xperia 1 VI also counts with a much bigger back camera sensor shooting way better quality videos and pictures, a back camera with a way higher 48 MP resolution and better video frame rates.
The Xperia 1 VI counts with a much better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy S8, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.
