Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition has a score of 91.1, which is slightly better than the Xperia 1 VI's global score of 83.2. Both devices in our current comparison include the same Android 14 OS (operating system), so both of them should provide all the same operating system features. Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition features a better looking screen than Xperia 1 VI, because although it has a way worse pixels count per display inch and a quite lower 1968 x 2184 resolution, it also counts with a bigger display.

Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition features just a bit better processing power than Sony Xperia 1 VI, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition also has 4 GB more RAM. Xperia 1 VI counts with a bit more storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, because although it has only 256 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with an external SD slot that supports up to 1 TB.

The Xperia 1 VI has just a little bit longer battery life than Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity against 4400mAh. The Xperia 1 VI captures better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for shooting photos or video in poorly lited environments and a back facing camera with much less MP resolution.
