Comparison review
The Sony Xperia 1 VI has an overall score of 83.2, which is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro's 81.1 global score. The Sony Xperia 1 VI design is noticeably thinner and incredibly lighter than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro. Both phones we are comparing here include Android OS, but the Sony Xperia 1 VI has the newer 14 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has Android 10, so it counts with some nice extra features and performance improvements.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has a much faster processing unit than Xperia 1 VI, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processor. Xperia 1 VI has a slightly better screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, because it has a lot more pixels per inch in the screen, a lot higher resolution of 1644 x 3840 and a quite larger display.
Sony Xperia 1 VI features a slightly better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, because although it has a worse 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a much less megapixels back camera, and they both have the same camera aperture, the Sony Xperia 1 VI also counts with a larger back-facing camera sensor shooting higher quality pictures.
The Sony Xperia 1 VI features a superior memory capacity to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, because it has a SD memory slot that supports a maximum of 1 TB and more internal memory. Xperia 1 VI and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro have similar battery durations, although the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro also has a 5020mAh battery size.
