Xperia 1 VI has a score of 83.2, which is slightly better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T's general score of 83. Both devices in this review work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Xperia 1 VI has a more recent 14 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T has Android 10 version. Xperia 1 VI's design is way thinner and much lighter than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T.
The Xperia 1 VI features a slightly better display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T, because it has a way higher 1644 x 3840 pixels resolution, a much higher pixels density and a quite bigger screen. The Xperia 1 VI features a very superior storage to install applications and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T, because it has more internal storage and a slot for an external memory card that holds a maximum of 1 TB.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T features a very superior processing unit than Sony Xperia 1 VI, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. Sony Xperia 1 VI shoots just a bit better videos and photos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T, because although it has a smaller aperture, and they both have a back camera with a 48 MP resolution and the same (4K) video resolution, the Sony Xperia 1 VI also counts with faster video frame rate and a way bigger back camera sensor taking way higher quality pictures and videos.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T has a battery duration that's just as good as the Xperia 1 VI one.
