Comparison review
The Xperia 1 is a bit better than iPhone 6, having a global score of 82.6 against 79.2. The Xperia 1 construction is extremely newer, but much heavier and thicker than the iPhone 6. The Sony Xperia 1 features just a little better hardware performance than iPhone 6, because although it has a 32-bits processing unit against 64-bits and doesn't have an additional graphics processor, it also counts with more RAM and a higher number of faster cores.
Sony Xperia 1 features a bit sharper display than iPhone 6, because although it has much lower brightness, it also counts with a lot more pixels per inch in the display, a way higher 1644 x 3840 resolution and a lot bigger screen. The Xperia 1 counts with much more storage capacity for apps and games than iPhone 6, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Xperia 1 also has a slot for an external memory card that allows up to 512 GB.
Sony Xperia 1 takes a bit better photos and videos than iPhone 6, because it has a larger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors, a much bigger aperture to capture better low-light images and videos, a much higher 3840x2160 video definition and a lot more megapixels back-facing camera. The Sony Xperia 1 counts with a really longer battery duration than Apple iPhone 6, because it has 3330mAh of battery capacity.
Although Xperia 1 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the iPhone 6, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the iPhone 6. If you want to save some dollars, you can buy iPhone 6, giving up a few features and specifications, but you will get the most with your savings.
