Comparison review
The Sony Xperia 1 is a little bit better than iPhone 6 Plus, getting an 82.6 score against 80.4. The Sony Xperia 1 is a a lot newer device than the iPhone 6 Plus, although it is somewhat thicker and a little heavier. The Sony Xperia 1 has a little faster CPU than Apple iPhone 6 Plus, because although it has a 32-bit processing unit against 64-bits and doesn't have an additional GPU, it also counts with a greater number of cores and 5 GB more RAM.
Xperia 1 has a bit sharper screen than iPhone 6 Plus, because although it has much worse brightness, it also counts with a much better display density, a larger display and a lot better 1644 x 3840 resolution. Sony Xperia 1 has a very superior storage for applications, games, photos and videos than iPhone 6 Plus, and although they both have equal internal storage, the Sony Xperia 1 also has a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 512 GB.
Sony Xperia 1 has just a little better battery duration than iPhone 6 Plus, because it has a 3330mAh battery capacity. The Sony Xperia 1 captures a bit better photographs and videos than iPhone 6 Plus, because it has a much better resolution back camera, a much bigger aperture, a larger sensor providing a better image quality and a lot better 3840x2160 (4K) video definition.
Although Xperia 1 is a better device, it is way more expensive than iPhone 6 Plus, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as iPhone 6 Plus. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Xperia 1, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the iPhone 6 Plus, letting go a couple features and specs.
