Comparison review

The Xperia 1 is a little bit better than iPhone XR, with an 82.6 score against 82. Xperia 1's body is a bit lighter and just a little bit thinner than iPhone XR, although they were released only a couple of months apart. The iPhone XR features a bit better CPU than Sony Xperia 1, because although it has 3 GB lesser RAM memory and an inferior number of cores and slower, it also counts with a 64-bits CPU.

The Xperia 1 has a better screen than Apple iPhone XR, because although it has much lower brightness, it also counts with a much better screen pixels density, a little bit bigger screen and a lot better 1644 x 3840 resolution. The Xperia 1 features a lot bigger memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than iPhone XR, because it has more internal storage capacity and a SD memory slot that allows up to 512 GB.

The iPhone XR has a bit better camera than Xperia 1, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not nice for low-light images and videos, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition and a same resolution back camera, the iPhone XR also counts with a larger back-facing camera sensor which gives a better image and video quality and faster 60 fps video frame rates.

The Sony Xperia 1 has just a bit better battery lifetime than Apple iPhone XR, because it has 3330mAh of battery capacity.

Although Sony Xperia 1 is a better device, it costs more than the iPhone XR, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the iPhone XR. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Sony Xperia 1, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the iPhone XR, letting go a couple features and specs.
