Comparison review
The Xperia 1 is just a bit better than Asus ROG Phone, getting an 82.6 score against 77.1. The Xperia 1 is a lighter and a little thinner device than the Asus ROG Phone, although they were released only 7 months apart. Sony Xperia 1 features a sharper display than Asus ROG Phone, because although it has much more opaque screen, it also counts with a lot higher resolution of 1644 x 3840px, a way better display density and a bit bigger display.
Asus ROG Phone features a bit faster CPU than Sony Xperia 1, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Asus ROG Phone also has a higher amount of RAM memory. The Asus ROG Phone has a lot bigger memory for games and applications than Sony Xperia 1, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 512 GB internal memory.
Asus ROG Phone features longer battery performance than Sony Xperia 1, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity against 3330mAh. Sony Xperia 1 counts with a much better camera than Asus ROG Phone, because although it has lower video frame rates and a tinier sensor shooting lower quality pictures, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Sony Xperia 1 also counts with a larger aperture.
