Comparison review
Asus ROG Phone 3 is slightly better than Sony Xperia 1, with a general score of 86.3 against 82.6. Asus ROG Phone 3's construction is newer than Sony Xperia 1's, although it's somewhat thicker and incredibly heavier. Xperia 1 features a bit better screen than Asus ROG Phone 3, because although it has much worse brightness and a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a way higher 1644 x 3840 pixels resolution and a much better display density.
Xperia 1 features a much bigger memory capacity for apps and games than Asus ROG Phone 3, and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the Xperia 1 also has a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 512 GB. The Asus ROG Phone 3 has a little faster processor than Sony Xperia 1, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Asus ROG Phone 3 also has a larger amount of RAM.
The Asus ROG Phone 3 shoots much better pictures and videos than Xperia 1, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture, it also counts with a much bigger sensor capturing lot better quality photos and videos, a lot higher 7680x4320 video quality and a back facing camera with a much higher resolution.
The Asus ROG Phone 3 counts with a very superior battery performance than Xperia 1, because it has a 6000mAh battery size against 3330mAh.
