Comparison review
The Asus ROG Phone 3 Strix Edition has a general score of 87.4, which is just a bit better than the Xperia 1's 82.6 overall score. The Asus ROG Phone 3 Strix Edition design is newer, but heavier and thicker than Xperia 1. Asus ROG Phone 3 Strix Edition features a bit better CPU than Sony Xperia 1, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Asus ROG Phone 3 Strix Edition also has more RAM memory.
The Sony Xperia 1 counts with a bit sharper display than Asus ROG Phone 3 Strix Edition, because although it has way less brightness and a bit smaller display, it also counts with a lot higher 1644 x 3840 resolution and much more pixels per screen inch.
