Comparison review
Sony Xperia 1 is a little bit better than Google Pixel 6a, having a score of 82.6 against 76.4. The Sony Xperia 1 is a just a bit thinner phone than Google Pixel 6a, but they weight the same. The Sony Xperia 1 counts with a lot better processing power than Google Pixel 6a, and although they both have a 6 GB RAM, the Sony Xperia 1 also has a greater number of cores (and also faster).
The Sony Xperia 1 counts with a much sharper display than Google Pixel 6a, because it has a greater pixel density, a little bit bigger display and a way better 1644 x 3840px resolution. Google Pixel 6a's camera is just as good as the Xperia 1 one, because although the Google Pixel 6a has a smaller aperture which is worse for taking images and/or video in low-light situations, and they both have the same (4K) video definition, it also counts with better 60 fps video frame rate and a better resolution back camera.
The Xperia 1 has a superior memory to store more apps and games than Google Pixel 6a, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal memory, the Xperia 1 also has an external memory slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB. The Google Pixel 6a has superior battery lifetime than Sony Xperia 1, because it has 4410mAh of battery capacity.
Although Sony Xperia 1 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Google Pixel 6a, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Google Pixel 6a. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can get the Google Pixel 6a, and give up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most with your savings.
