Sony Xperia 1 is just a bit better than the Huawei Mate 8, with an 82.6 score against 77.4. Sony Xperia 1's construction is newer and just a bit lighter than Huawei Mate 8's, but it's also a bit thicker. Sony Xperia 1 counts with a bit better processor than Huawei Mate 8, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Sony Xperia 1 also has more RAM.
Sony Xperia 1 counts with a lot better screen than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a quite larger display, a way better resolution of 1644 x 3840 and a way higher pixels amount per inch of display. Xperia 1 has a slightly better camera than Huawei Mate 8, because although it has a camera in the back with much less mega-pixels, it also counts with a larger aperture and a way better (4K) video definition.
The Xperia 1 features more memory capacity for applications and games than Huawei Mate 8, and although they both have the same internal storage, the Xperia 1 also has a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 512 GB. The Huawei Mate 8 has greater battery duration than Xperia 1, because it has a 20 percent more battery capacity.
