Comparison review
Huawei P40 is just a bit better than Sony Xperia 1, getting an 86.4 score against 82.6. Huawei P40's construction is newer and a little lighter, but also just a little bit thicker than the Sony Xperia 1. Huawei P40's CPU is very similar to Xperia 1's processing unit, they have the same number of cores and a 6 GB RAM memory.
The Sony Xperia 1 features a brighter screen than Huawei P40, because it has a much better 1644 x 3840px resolution, a little bit bigger display and a way higher screen density. Huawei P40 shoots greater photographs and videos than Xperia 1, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not favorable for low light photos and video, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Huawei P40 also counts with better video frame rates, a lot better 50 mega-pixels resolution back facing camera and a way larger camera sensor taking much higher quality videos and photographs.
Xperia 1 features a much better storage to install applications and games than Huawei P40, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the Xperia 1 also has an external SD slot that admits up to 512 GB. The Huawei P40 has a bit superior battery duration than Xperia 1, because it has a 3800mAh battery capacity.
The Huawei P40 not only is the best phones of the ones we are comparing here, but it's also a bargain compared to the other ones, making buying this phone an easy decision.
