Comparison review
Huawei P40 Pro has an overall score of 88.2, which is just a bit better than the Sony Xperia 1's global score of 82.6. Huawei P40 Pro's body is newer, but just a little bit thicker and heavier than the Sony Xperia 1. Xperia 1 has a brighter screen than Huawei P40 Pro, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1644 x 3840 and a better pixels density.
The Huawei P40 Pro and Sony Xperia 1 have really similar processing units, and although the Huawei P40 Pro has 2 GB more RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. The Sony Xperia 1 has much more storage capacity to store more apps and games than Huawei P40 Pro, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Sony Xperia 1 also has a slot for SD memory cards that supports a maximum of 512 GB.
Huawei P40 Pro counts with a lot better camera than Xperia 1, because although it has a smaller aperture, and they both have the same video definition, the Huawei P40 Pro also counts with a back facing camera with much more megapixels, a way larger sensor which offers a lot higher photo and video quality and higher video frame rates.
Huawei P40 Pro counts with superior battery lifetime than Sony Xperia 1, because it has 4200mAh of battery capacity.
