Comparison review

Xperia 1 is slightly better than the LG G3, with an 82.6 score against 76.4. Xperia 1's design is noticeably newer and a little thinner, but also heavier than LG G3. The Xperia 1 has a little faster CPU than LG G3, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, it also counts with a higher amount of RAM memory and 4 more processing cores.

The LG G3 has a little more vivid display than Xperia 1, because although it has a little bit smaller display, a way worse 2560 x 1440 resolution and a quite worse pixels number per display inch, it also counts with a bit brighter screen. The Sony Xperia 1 takes slightly better photos and videos than LG G3, because although it has a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a less megapixels resolution back camera, it also counts with a way bigger aperture to take better low light captures and a bigger back-facing camera sensor providing a higher image quality.

Xperia 1 features much more memory to store more games and applications than LG G3, because it has 128 GB internal storage and an external memory card slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB. The Xperia 1 features a bit better battery lifetime than LG G3, because it has 3330mAh of battery capacity against 3000mAh.

Although Sony Xperia 1 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the LG G3, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the LG G3. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Sony Xperia 1, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the LG G3, letting go a couple features and specs.
