Comparison review
The LG G8X ThinQ has a general score of 82.7, which is slightly better than Sony Xperia 1's 82.6 overall score. LG G8X ThinQ's body is a little heavier and a little thicker than Sony Xperia 1. The Sony Xperia 1 has a sharper screen than LG G8X ThinQ, because it has a way higher screen density, a bit larger screen and a much better resolution of 1644 x 3840px.
LG G8X ThinQ's processing unit is very similar to the CPU in Xperia 1, both have the same RAM amount and 8 cpu cores. The LG G8X ThinQ has a much better memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Sony Xperia 1, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory, the LG G8X ThinQ also has an external SD slot that admits up to 1,95 TB.
LG G8X ThinQ takes clearer videos and photos than Sony Xperia 1, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not so good for low-light photos and videos, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a 12 mega-pixels camera in the back, the LG G8X ThinQ also counts with a bigger sensor providing a higher image quality and higher video frame rates.
LG G8X ThinQ has improved battery duration than Sony Xperia 1, because it has a 4000mAh battery size.
