Comparison review
The Sony Xperia 1 is just a bit better than LG Q8, with a score of 82.6 against 77.2. The Sony Xperia 1 body is newer, but heavier and a little thicker than the LG Q8. Sony Xperia 1 counts with just a bit better screen than LG Q8, because although it has much worse brightness, it also counts with a better 1644 x 3840 resolution, a just a little higher count of pixels per inch in the display and a larger display.
