Comparison review
The Xperia 1 is a little bit better than the LG V40 ThinQ, with an 82.6 score against 81.2. The Xperia 1 body is a little bit thicker and a bit heavier than LG V40 ThinQ. Sony Xperia 1 features just a bit better looking screen than LG V40 ThinQ, because it has a bit higher pixel number in each display inch, a little bigger screen and a better resolution of 1644 x 3840px.
The LG V40 ThinQ has a processor that's just as good as the CPU in Xperia 1, they have a 6 GB RAM memory and a Octa-Core CPU. LG V40 ThinQ features a slightly better storage for apps and games than Xperia 1, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB.
The LG V40 ThinQ and Xperia 1 both feature quite similar batteries duration, although the LG V40 ThinQ has just 3300mAh battery capacity. The LG V40 ThinQ counts with a slightly better camera than Sony Xperia 1, and although they both have a 0.38 inches sensor, a 12 MP resolution back facing camera and the same video quality, the LG V40 ThinQ also has higher video frame rates and a bigger diafragm aperture.
Although Sony Xperia 1 is a better device, it costs a lot more than LG V40 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the LG V40 ThinQ. If you are trying to save some money, you can buy LG V40 ThinQ, and give up a few specs and features, but you will get the most out of your budget.
