Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface Duo 2 is a bit better than the Sony Xperia 1, with a score of 85.3 against 82.6. The Microsoft Surface Duo 2 construction is way newer and extremely thinner, but also extremely heavier than Sony Xperia 1. The Sony Xperia 1 counts with just a bit better looking display than Microsoft Surface Duo 2, because although it has much worse brightness and a really smaller display, it also counts with much more pixels per screen inch and a quite better resolution of 1644 x 3840.
The Sony Xperia 1 features a much greater storage to install games and applications than Microsoft Surface Duo 2, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Sony Xperia 1 also has an external SD slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB. The Microsoft Surface Duo 2 has a processing unit that is very similar to Sony Xperia 1's processing unit, and although the Microsoft Surface Duo 2 has 2 GB more RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit.
Microsoft Surface Duo 2 has a slightly better camera than Sony Xperia 1, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not so good for capturing photographs in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same resolution back-facing camera and the same (4K) video definition, the Microsoft Surface Duo 2 also counts with better 60 frames per second video frame rate.
Microsoft Surface Duo 2 has greater battery duration than Xperia 1, because it has a 4449mAh battery capacity instead of 3330mAh.
Even being the best phone in this comparison, the Microsoft Surface Duo 2 is also by far the cheapest one, which makes it very easy to pick between these phones.
