The Sony Xperia 1 has a general score of 82.6, which is a bit better than Moto G Power (2021)'s general score of 76.5. Despite of the fact that Sony Xperia 1 is older than Moto G Power (2021), it's construction is somewhat lighter and somewhat thinner. Sony Xperia 1 has a much better looking screen than Moto G Power (2021), because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a way better 1644 x 3840 resolution and a much better screen density.

The Sony Xperia 1 has just a little better hardware performance than Motorola Moto G Power (2021), and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Sony Xperia 1 also has a greater amount of RAM memory. The Motorola Moto G Power (2021) takes much clearer videos and photos than Xperia 1, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture, and they both have the same 1920x1080 video resolution, the Motorola Moto G Power (2021) also counts with a back-facing camera with a much higher resolution, higher 60 frames per second video frame rates and a much bigger sensor capturing lot higher quality videos and photographs.

The Xperia 1 counts with much more memory capacity for apps and games than Moto G Power (2021), and although they both have a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB, the Xperia 1 also has 64 GB more internal storage capacity. The Motorola Moto G Power (2021) counts with a much better battery life than Xperia 1, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity against 3330mAh.

Although Xperia 1 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Moto G Power (2021), and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Moto G Power (2021). So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Xperia 1, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Moto G Power (2021), resigning some features and specs.
