The Xperia 1 is just a bit better than Motorola Moto G31, having a global score of 82.6 against 77. Although the Xperia 1 is extremely older than Motorola Moto G31, it's construction is a little bit thinner and just a little lighter. Xperia 1 counts with just a little better performance than Motorola Moto G31, and although they both have 8 cores, the Xperia 1 also has 2 GB more RAM memory.

The Sony Xperia 1 features a brighter screen than Moto G31, because it has a quite bigger screen, a way higher count of pixels per inch of display and a much better 1644 x 3840 resolution. The Xperia 1 has just a bit more storage to install applications and games than Moto G31, because although it has a SD extension slot that allows 512 GB smaller, it also counts with 64 GB more internal memory capacity.

The Moto G31 takes a little bit better photographs and videos than Sony Xperia 1, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is worse for capturing pictures or video in low light environments, and they both have the same video resolution, the Moto G31 also counts with a back-facing camera with way more mega-pixels and higher 30 frames per second video frame rate.
