Xperia 1 is just a bit better than Motorola Moto Z2 Force Edition, with a global score of 82.6 against 77.4. Xperia 1 is a newer phone than the Motorola Moto Z2 Force Edition, although it is extremely thicker and heavier. Xperia 1 has a little faster CPU than Moto Z2 Force Edition, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Xperia 1 also has a higher amount of RAM memory.

The Sony Xperia 1 features a bit better looking display than Moto Z2 Force Edition, because it has a better resolution of 1644 x 3840 pixels, a little bit higher pixels number in each inch of display and a bigger display. The Moto Z2 Force Edition counts with just a bit bigger memory for games and applications than Xperia 1, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with an external memory card slot that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB.

Sony Xperia 1 features a slightly better camera than Motorola Moto Z2 Force Edition, because although it has lower 24 fps video frame rate, and they both have the same resolution camera in the back and the same (4K) video resolution, the Sony Xperia 1 also counts with a larger diafragm aperture for better captures in poorly lited situations and a larger sensor which offers a higher image and video quality.
