Comparison review

The Sony Xperia 1 has a score of 82.6, which is just a bit better than the Motorola One 5G Ace's 81.6 overall score. Despite of the fact that Sony Xperia 1 is older than Motorola One 5G Ace, it's construction is somewhat lighter and somewhat thinner. The Sony Xperia 1 counts with a better looking screen than Motorola One 5G Ace, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a much higher 1644 x 3840 pixels resolution and a lot higher count of pixels per screen inch.

The Sony Xperia 1 counts with just a bit more memory capacity to install games and applications than Motorola One 5G Ace, because although it has a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB against 1 TB, it also counts with more internal memory. Xperia 1 counts with a bit faster CPU than Motorola One 5G Ace, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia 1 also has a larger amount of RAM.

Motorola One 5G Ace features a way better battery lifetime than Sony Xperia 1, because it has a 50% larger battery capacity. The Motorola One 5G Ace features a better camera than Sony Xperia 1, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not favorable for taking pictures or video in low light situations, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution, the Motorola One 5G Ace also counts with faster 30 fps video frame rates and a much more megapixels back-facing camera.

Although Sony Xperia 1 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Motorola One 5G Ace, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Motorola One 5G Ace. If you are trying to save some money, you can buy Motorola One 5G Ace, giving up a few features and specs, but you'll get the most with your budget.
