Comparison review
Sony Xperia 1 is slightly better than Motorola One Action, getting an 82.6 score against 78.5. Although Sony Xperia 1 and Motorola One Action were only released with a couple of months difference, the Sony Xperia 1 body is thinner but also a little heavier. Xperia 1 has a bit more powerful processing unit than Motorola One Action, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Xperia 1 also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
The Xperia 1 features a more vivid display than Motorola One Action, because it has a much higher 1644 x 3840px resolution, a better screen density and a bit bigger display. The Xperia 1 takes clearer photos and videos than Motorola One Action, because although it has worse 24 fps video frame rate, and they both have a 12 mega-pixels camera and the same (4K) video resolution, the Xperia 1 also counts with a larger diafragm aperture to take better captures and video in poorly lited situations.
Motorola One Action counts with a slightly better memory capacity for applications and games than Xperia 1, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal memory, the Motorola One Action also has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits up to 1000 GB. The Motorola One Action counts with just a little better battery duration than Xperia 1, because it has 3500mAh of battery capacity.
Although Xperia 1 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Motorola One Action, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Motorola One Action. If you want to save some dollars, you can buy the Motorola One Action, giving up a few features and specifications, but you will get the most out of your budget.
