Comparison review

Xperia 1 has a global score of 82.6, which is a bit better than Motorola One Hyper's global score of 79.8. Xperia 1's body is just a little bit thinner and somewhat lighter than the Motorola One Hyper, even when they were only released with a couple months difference. Xperia 1 features a better screen than Motorola One Hyper, and although they both have a screen of the same size, the Xperia 1 also has a much higher 1644 x 3840 resolution and a lot higher screen pixels density.

The Xperia 1 counts with a bit faster processing unit than Motorola One Hyper, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia 1 also has more RAM. Motorola One Hyper counts with just a bit bigger memory to install games and applications than Xperia 1, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal storage, the Motorola One Hyper also has an external memory slot that holds up to 1000 GB.

The Motorola One Hyper captures much better photos and videos than Sony Xperia 1, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is worse for low light images and videos, and they both have the same video resolution, the Motorola One Hyper also counts with a lot higher resolution camera and better 30 fps video frame rates.

Motorola One Hyper counts with longer battery performance than Xperia 1, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.

Although Sony Xperia 1 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Motorola One Hyper, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Motorola One Hyper. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy Motorola One Hyper, letting go a couple features, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
