Comparison review
The Xperia 1 is just a bit better than OnePlus 7 Pro 5G, with an 82.6 score against 79.8. Xperia 1 is a just a little bit thinner and lighter cellphone than OnePlus 7 Pro 5G, even when both of them were released only a couple of months apart. Sony Xperia 1 features a little more vivid display than OnePlus 7 Pro 5G, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better 1644 x 3840 resolution and a better pixel count per inch of display.
The Xperia 1 counts with a little bit more storage for applications, games, photos and videos than OnePlus 7 Pro 5G, because although it has less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD extension slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB. The OnePlus 7 Pro 5G features a bit superior processor than Xperia 1, and although they both have the same number of cores, the OnePlus 7 Pro 5G also has 6 GB more RAM.
OnePlus 7 Pro 5G counts with improved battery performance than Sony Xperia 1, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity instead of 3330mAh. OnePlus 7 Pro 5G counts with a greater camera than Sony Xperia 1, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution and a same size diafragm aperture, the OnePlus 7 Pro 5G also has a lot higher resolution camera in the back, a much bigger back-facing camera sensor taking way higher quality pictures and videos and faster 60 fps video frame rates.
