Comparison review
The Sony Xperia 1 is a little bit better than the OnePlus 9, getting a general score of 82.6 against 76. Despite of the fact that Sony Xperia 1 is older than OnePlus 9, it's design is a bit lighter and a little bit thinner. OnePlus 9 features a processor that's just as good as the CPU in Xperia 1, and although the OnePlus 9 has a greater amount of RAM, they both have 8 cpu cores.
Sony Xperia 1 features a better looking display than OnePlus 9, and although they both have a screen of the same size, the Sony Xperia 1 also has a lot greater pixels density and a lot better 1644 x 3840px resolution. Xperia 1 counts with a way bigger storage capacity for games and applications than OnePlus 9, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal memory, the Xperia 1 also has a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB.
The OnePlus 9 has a way better camera than Xperia 1, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for low light photography, it also counts with a much better video quality, a much bigger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a lot higher 48 MP resolution back-facing camera.
OnePlus 9 features superior battery life than Xperia 1, because it has a 35% greater battery capacity.
The Sony Xperia 1 is more expensive than the OnePlus 9, but it's still a good choice, as you can get a much better phone for that extra money.
