Xperia 1 is just a bit better than Galaxy A16 5G, with an 82.6 score against 76.2. The Xperia 1 body is somewhat lighter but a little bit thicker than Galaxy A16 5G. Sony Xperia 1 counts with an extremely better CPU than Galaxy A16 5G, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Sony Xperia 1 also has a higher amount of RAM.
The Xperia 1 has a sharper display than Galaxy A16 5G, because although it has way more opaque screen and a quite smaller display, it also counts with a much better resolution of 1644 x 3840px and a much higher count of pixels per inch of display. Samsung Galaxy A16 5G features a very superior battery duration than Xperia 1, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity. The Sony Xperia 1 features a little bit better camera than Galaxy A16 5G, because although it has a lot lower resolution back-facing camera, it also counts with a bigger diafragm aperture.
Although Xperia 1 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Samsung Galaxy A16 5G, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Samsung Galaxy A16 5G. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Xperia 1, else you can save some dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy A16 5G, resigning a couple features and specs.
