Comparison review
Xperia 1 is just a bit better than the Galaxy A31, getting an 82.6 score against 81.3. Xperia 1 is an older cellphone than Galaxy A31, but Sony was able to make it a little lighter and a little bit thinner anyway. Xperia 1 counts with a little bit better performance than Galaxy A31, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Xperia 1 also has 2 GB more RAM.
Xperia 1 has a sharper display than Samsung Galaxy A31, because it has a lot higher 1644 x 3840 pixels resolution, a quite larger screen and a much better pixels quantity per inch of display. Galaxy A31 takes much clearer videos and photos than Sony Xperia 1, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not favorable for low light photos and video, and they both have the same 1920x1080 video quality, the Galaxy A31 also counts with a much more mega pixels back facing camera, faster 30 fps video frame rate and a much bigger sensor.
Sony Xperia 1 features a lot bigger memory capacity to store more apps and games than Galaxy A31, and although they both have a SD extension slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB, the Sony Xperia 1 also has more internal memory. The Galaxy A31 counts with a way better battery duration than Sony Xperia 1, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity against 3330mAh.
