Comparison review
The Xperia 1 has a score of 82.6, which is a little bit better than the Galaxy A6's 75.8 score. Xperia 1 is a newer phone than Galaxy A6, although it is just a little bit heavier and a little thicker. Sony Xperia 1 counts with a more powerful processor than Galaxy A6, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Sony Xperia 1 also has a higher amount of RAM.
Xperia 1 has an incredibly better screen than Samsung Galaxy A6, because it has a lot higher 1644 x 3840 resolution, a way greater display pixels density and a bigger screen. Sony Xperia 1 has just a bit better camera than Galaxy A6, because although it has a much lower resolution back facing camera, it also counts with a bigger sensor shooting higher quality photographs, a much higher video quality and a larger aperture.
Sony Xperia 1 features much more memory for applications and games than Galaxy A6, because it has an external SD slot that allows up to 512 GB and 128 GB internal memory capacity. Sony Xperia 1 counts with a bit better battery performance than Galaxy A6, because it has a 3330mAh battery size.
Although Xperia 1 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Galaxy A6, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy A6. If you are trying to save some money, you can get Galaxy A6, giving up a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
