Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy A71 has an overall score of 87.5, which is just a bit better than the Sony Xperia 1's general score of 82.6. Even though Samsung Galaxy A71 and the Sony Xperia 1 were only released 8 months apart, Samsung Galaxy A71's design is just a little heavier but just a little thinner than the Sony Xperia 1.
Xperia 1 features a little faster processing unit than Galaxy A71. Both have 8 CPU cores and 6 GB of RAM. The Sony Xperia 1 counts with a more vivid display than Galaxy A71, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a lot better display pixel density and a way better 1644 x 3840 pixels resolution.
Galaxy A71's storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos is very similar to Xperia 1's one, they have an external memory slot that allows up to 512 GB and equal internal memory. Galaxy A71 features longer battery lifetime than Sony Xperia 1, because it has a 4500mAh battery size.
The Samsung Galaxy A71 takes greater photographs and videos than Xperia 1, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not nice for low light captures, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Samsung Galaxy A71 also counts with a camera with way more mega-pixels, a much larger back camera sensor shooting way higher quality photographs and higher 30 fps video frame rates.
In addition to being the best phone in this comparison, the Samsung Galaxy A71 is also by far the cheapest, making it a no doubt choice.
