Sony Xperia 1 is slightly better than the Galaxy XCover 6 Pro, getting a global score of 82.6 against 77.6. The Sony Xperia 1 construction is much lighter and somewhat thinner than the Galaxy XCover 6 Pro, although it was released many years before. Xperia 1 has a way better screen than Galaxy XCover 6 Pro, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a lot greater pixel count per screen inch and a lot better resolution of 1644 x 3840 pixels.
Xperia 1 counts with a really superior performance than Galaxy XCover 6 Pro. Both of them have a 6 GB RAM and the same number of cores. Sony Xperia 1 captures just a bit better videos and photos than Galaxy XCover 6 Pro, because although it has a back-facing camera with lot less MP, it also counts with a lot bigger back camera sensor shooting much better quality photos and videos and a larger diafragm aperture to capture better captures and videos in poorly lited situations.
The Samsung Galaxy XCover 6 Pro has a bit more storage for games and applications than Sony Xperia 1, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy XCover 6 Pro also has an external memory slot that allows a maximum of 1 TB. The Galaxy XCover 6 Pro features better battery performance than Sony Xperia 1, because it has a 22 percent more battery capacity.
