Galaxy Z Flip 3 has an overall score of 85.6, which is a little bit better than the Sony Xperia 1's 82.6 global score. Although Galaxy Z Flip 3 is just a little bit heavier than the Sony Xperia 1, it's thinner and also newer. The Sony Xperia 1 features a better looking screen than Galaxy Z Flip 3, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a much higher screen density and a much better 1644 x 3840 resolution.
The Xperia 1 features a very superior storage for games and applications than Galaxy Z Flip 3, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal memory, the Xperia 1 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits up to 512 GB. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 has a processor that's just as good as the processor in Sony Xperia 1, and although the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 has a higher amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
The Sony Xperia 1 features a greater camera than Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3, and although they both have a back camera with a 12 MP, the Sony Xperia 1 also has a bigger aperture to capture better low-light captures. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 counts with a battery performance that is very similar to the Xperia 1 one, although the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 has a 1% lower battery capacity.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 costs a little more money than Sony Xperia 1, but you can get a better phone for that extra dollars.
