The Sony Xperia 1 V has a general score of 82.7, which is a bit better than Xperia 1's general score of 82.6. The Sony Xperia 1 V body is way newer, but a little heavier and just a bit thicker than Xperia 1. Xperia 1 has a better screen than Sony Xperia 1 V. They have a display with the same size, the same screen pixels density and an equal 1644 x 3840 resolution.
Sony Xperia 1 has an extremely better processing unit than Xperia 1 V, although it has lesser RAM, they both have the same number of cores. The Sony Xperia 1 V captures much clearer videos and photos than Xperia 1, because although it has a tinier aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Sony Xperia 1 V also counts with a much more mega-pixels camera, higher video frame rates and a much larger camera sensor providing a much better image quality.
