The Xperia 5 II is a bit better than Sony Xperia 1, with a score of 87.2 against 82.6. The Xperia 5 II is a newer phone, and it's also a bit thinner and a little bit lighter than the Sony Xperia 1. Sony Xperia 1 counts with a much better display than Xperia 5 II, because it has a way better resolution of 1644 x 3840px, a quite bigger screen and a greater quantity of pixels per inch in the screen.

The Xperia 5 II features a processor that's very similar to Xperia 1's processing unit, and although the Xperia 5 II has a greater amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit. Xperia 5 II counts with a slightly better camera than Xperia 1, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is worse for low-light images and videos, and they both have a camera in the back with a 12 megapixels and the same (4K) video quality, the Xperia 5 II also counts with a way bigger camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors and better 120 frames per second video frame rate.

Xperia 5 II has a slightly better memory capacity to install applications and games than Xperia 1, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Xperia 5 II also has an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 1000 GB. Xperia 5 II features longer battery duration than Xperia 1, because it has a 20 percent more battery capacity.
