Comparison review
The Xperia PRO has an overall score of 94.3, which is much better than the Xperia 1's 82.6 score. Although Xperia PRO is newer than the Xperia 1, it is heavier and incredibly thicker. The Xperia PRO counts with a CPU that is very similar to the CPU in Xperia 1, and although the Xperia PRO has a greater amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores.
Xperia 1 has a little more vivid screen than Xperia PRO. Both of them have the same 1644 x 3840 pixels resolution, a display of the same size and the same display pixel density. Sony Xperia PRO counts with a very superior storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Sony Xperia 1, because it has 512 GB internal memory and a slot for an SD memory card that admits up to 1 TB.
The Xperia PRO captures a bit better pictures and videos than Xperia 1, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for low-light photography and videos, and they both have a camera with a 12 mega-pixels resolution and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Xperia PRO also counts with higher video frame rate and a way larger sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
The Xperia PRO features improved battery lifetime than Xperia 1, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3330mAh.
Although Xperia PRO is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Xperia 1, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Xperia 1. If you want to save some money, you can get the Xperia 1, giving up a few features and specs, but you will get the most out of your budget.
