The Sony Xperia 1 is slightly better than Xperia XZ Premium, with a score of 82.6 against 79.8. The Sony Xperia 1 is a newer and a little lighter cellphone than the Xperia XZ Premium, but it is just a bit thicker. Sony Xperia 1 features just a little better processing power than Sony Xperia XZ Premium, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Sony Xperia 1 also has 2 GB more RAM memory.
The Xperia XZ Premium features a little bit better looking screen than Sony Xperia 1, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a slightly higher resolution of 2160 x 3840px, a bit higher count of pixels in each display inch and a lot brighter screen. Xperia XZ Premium shoots just a bit better pictures and videos than Sony Xperia 1, because although it has a tinier aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Xperia XZ Premium also counts with a camera with much more MP, faster video frame rates and a bigger camera sensor which gives a higher photo and video quality.
Sony Xperia 1 counts with a very superior storage capacity for applications and games than Sony Xperia XZ Premium, because it has an external SD slot that holds up to 512 GB and 128 GB internal memory capacity. The Xperia 1 features a little longer battery performance than Xperia XZ Premium, because it has 3330mAh of battery capacity.
