Comparison review
Sony Xperia 1 is just a bit better than the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, getting a score of 82.6 against 82.2. Sony Xperia 1 is a newer phone, and it's also lighter and noticeably thinner than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium. The Xperia 1 and the Xperia XZ2 Premium count with really similar processors, they have the same number of cores and the same RAM memory amount.
The Xperia XZ2 Premium features a little bit better looking display than Xperia 1, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a little bit higher quantity of pixels per screen inch, a way brighter screen and a quite better 2160 x 3840 pixels resolution. Xperia XZ2 Premium takes just a bit better photos and videos than Xperia 1, because although it has a tinier camera aperture, and they both have the same video definition, the Xperia XZ2 Premium also counts with a much better 19 MP resolution back-facing camera, higher video frame rate and a larger camera sensor which offers a higher image and video quality.
Sony Xperia 1 features a much better storage capacity for apps and games than Xperia XZ2 Premium, because it has an external memory card slot that admits up to 512 GB and 64 GB more internal storage. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a little longer battery lifetime than Sony Xperia 1, because it has a 6 percent greater battery capacity.
