Comparison review

The Sony Xperia 1 has a general score of 82.6, which is a bit better than the Sony Xperia Z4v's 78.8 overall score. Sony Xperia 1's design is way newer and just a little thinner, but heavier than the Sony Xperia Z4v. The Xperia 1 has a bit more powerful processor than Xperia Z4v, because although it has doesn't have a graphics co-processor, and they both have 8 CPU cores, the Xperia 1 also counts with 3 GB more RAM.

Xperia Z4v counts with a slightly better screen than Sony Xperia 1, although it has a quite worse screen pixels density, a way lower 2560 x 1440 resolution and a really smaller screen. The Sony Xperia Z4v counts with a slightly better camera than Xperia 1, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is worse for capturing photographs or videos in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Sony Xperia Z4v also counts with a camera in the back with a way higher resolution, a bigger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and better video frame rate.

The Xperia 1 features a much greater storage capacity for applications and games than Sony Xperia Z4v, because it has more internal memory capacity and a slot for an external memory card that holds a maximum of 512 GB. Xperia 1 has a bit superior battery performance than Sony Xperia Z4v, because it has 3330mAh of battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.

Although Xperia 1 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Xperia Z4v, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Xperia Z4v. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Xperia 1, else you can save some dollars and get the Xperia Z4v, letting go a couple specifications.
