Comparison review
The Xperia 1 has a score of 82.6, which is a little bit better than Xiaomi Poco M3's general score of 78.2. The Xperia 1 body is somewhat thinner and lighter than Xiaomi Poco M3, although it was released about 18 months before. The Sony Xperia 1 has a better looking display than Xiaomi Poco M3, and although they both have a same size display, the Sony Xperia 1 also has a way higher 1644 x 3840 resolution and a lot more pixels per display inch.
The Sony Xperia 1 has a superior memory capacity for applications and games than Xiaomi Poco M3, and although they both have a SD extension slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB, the Sony Xperia 1 also has 128 GB internal storage. Sony Xperia 1 counts with a little bit better performance than Xiaomi Poco M3, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Sony Xperia 1 also has more RAM memory.
Xiaomi Poco M3 takes much clearer pictures and videos than Xperia 1, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture, and they both have the same video definition, the Xiaomi Poco M3 also counts with better video frame rates, a camera in the back with lot more MP and a lot larger back camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.

If you are trying to save some money, you can get Xiaomi Poco M3, letting go a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
