Comparison review
The Xperia 1 is just a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, having a global score of 82.6 against 77.2. The Xperia 1 is a a bit thinner and a little bit lighter phone than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, even when both were only released with a few months difference. Xperia 1 features a little bit better processing power than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro. Both of them have a Octa-Core CPU and a 6 GB RAM memory.
Xperia 1 features a much better looking display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, because although it has much less brightness, it also counts with a way better pixels number per inch in the display, a quite bigger display and a much higher resolution of 1644 x 3840 pixels. Xperia 1 has a way bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, because it has a slot for an SD memory card that allows a maximum of 512 GB and 128 GB internal memory.
The Sony Xperia 1 shoots clearer photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, because although it has a tinier back-facing camera sensor capturing worse quality images and videos, and they both have a back camera with a 12 mega pixels resolution, the Sony Xperia 1 also counts with a lot better 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a bigger camera aperture to capture better low-light photography and videos.
