Comparison review

Xperia 10 II has a score of 78.5, which is just a bit better than the HTC One M9's general score of 77.7. The Xperia 10 II is a way newer device, and it is also just a little bit lighter and thinner than the HTC One M9. Both devices we are comparing here have Android OS, but the Xperia 10 II has the newer 10 version and HTC One M9 has Android 5.0, providing some nice extra features and performance enhancements.

HTC One M9 features a bit better processing unit than Xperia 10 II, because although it has 1 GB less RAM memory, and they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the HTC One M9 also counts with a 64-bit processing unit and an additional graphics co-processor. The HTC One M9 counts with a brighter screen than Sony Xperia 10 II, although it has a little smaller screen, a bit lower screen density and a bit lower resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.

Sony Xperia 10 II has much more memory capacity for games and applications than HTC One M9, because it has 128 GB internal memory and a slot for external memory cards that allows up to 1000 GB. The Sony Xperia 10 II has better battery lifetime than HTC One M9, because it has a 27 percent bigger battery size.

The HTC One M9 shoots a little bit better photos and videos than Xperia 10 II, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not favorable for low-light photography and video, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same video quality, the HTC One M9 also counts with a camera in the back with way more MP and a larger camera sensor providing a better image quality.
