Sony Xperia 10 II is just a bit better than Motorola Edge 40 Neo, having a 78.5 score against 77. These devices include Android OS (operating system), but Sony Xperia 10 II has the previous 10 version and Motorola Edge 40 Neo has Android 13 version. Sony Xperia 10 II is a much older and just a bit thicker phone than Motorola Edge 40 Neo, but Sony was able to make it somewhat lighter anyway.

Motorola Edge 40 Neo has a slightly better looking display than Sony Xperia 10 II, because although it has a bit worse pixel quantity in each display inch and a little bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, it also counts with a little larger display. The Sony Xperia 10 II has a lot bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Motorola Edge 40 Neo, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory, the Sony Xperia 10 II also has a slot for an external memory card that holds up to 1000 GB.

The Xperia 10 II features a much faster CPU than Motorola Edge 40 Neo, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have 8 processing cores. Motorola Edge 40 Neo takes way better photographs and videos than Sony Xperia 10 II, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Motorola Edge 40 Neo also has a bigger aperture for better captures and video in poorly lited environments, a much bigger back-facing camera sensor which offers a lot higher photo and video quality and a back-facing camera with a much better resolution.

The Motorola Edge 40 Neo counts with a very superior battery duration than Xperia 10 II, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3600mAh.
