Xperia 10 II has a general score of 78.5, which is just a bit better than Moto G8 Plus's 77.6 general score. The Xperia 10 II is a somewhat lighter and thinner phone than Moto G8 Plus, although both of them were only released 6 months apart. Sony Xperia 10 II has a slightly better looking screen than Motorola Moto G8 Plus, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a bit higher 1080 x 2520px resolution and a bit higher display density.

Motorola Moto G8 Plus's processor is very similar to the processor in Xperia 10 II, they have 4 GB of RAM and the same number of cores. Sony Xperia 10 II features a much bigger memory for games and applications than Moto G8 Plus, because it has more internal storage capacity and a SD memory card expansion slot that holds a maximum of 1000 GB.
