The Xperia 10 II is just a bit better than Motorola Moto G9 Play, getting a overall score of 78.5 against 76.7. The Xperia 10 II is a thinner and a lot lighter cellphone than Motorola Moto G9 Play, although both were released with only a couple of months difference. These phones use the same Android 10 OS (operating system).

Xperia 10 II features a better screen than Moto G9 Play, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a lot higher 1080 x 2520 resolution and a much better pixels count per inch of screen. The Moto G9 Play counts with a CPU that is very similar to the Xperia 10 II one, both have 8 processing cores and the same RAM amount.

Motorola Moto G9 Play shoots much clearer videos and photos than Xperia 10 II, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition, the Motorola Moto G9 Play also has higher 60 fps video frame rate, a bigger camera aperture for better low light photos and video, a back facing camera with lot more mega-pixels and a way larger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.

Xperia 10 II features a superior storage capacity to store more apps and games than Motorola Moto G9 Play, because it has an external SD slot that allows up to 1000 GB and 64 GB more internal memory capacity. Moto G9 Play has a much better battery life than Sony Xperia 10 II, because it has a 39% bigger battery size.
