Comparison review

The Galaxy A31 has a general score of 81.3, which is just a bit better than the Sony Xperia 10 II's 78.5 global score. Although it's the best in this review, Galaxy A31 is an a little thicker and somewhat heavier device than Sony Xperia 10 II. Both phones we compare here use the same Android 10 operating system.

Samsung Galaxy A31 features a processing unit that is very similar to the processing unit in Sony Xperia 10 II, both have 8 CPU cores and a 4 GB RAM. Xperia 10 II has a bit better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy A31, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit more pixels per screen inch and a little higher resolution of 1080 x 2520.

The Xperia 10 II has a much better storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy A31, because it has 128 GB internal storage capacity and an external SD slot that allows up to 1000 GB. The Samsung Galaxy A31 takes much clearer pictures and videos than Xperia 10 II, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution, the same video frame rates and a same size diafragm aperture, the Samsung Galaxy A31 also has a back-facing camera with a lot better resolution and a way bigger back camera sensor providing a lot higher image quality.

Samsung Galaxy A31 has a really longer battery lifetime than Xperia 10 II, because it has a 39% greater battery capacity.
